Create Your Own OC Contest

After two polls, the create your own oc is declared the winner!

Though I'm writing everything about the contest now, it won't officially begin until March 15th at midnight. You can begin anytime after I post this Journal, but the contest won't begin until the above date.



Contest Start: March 15th at Midnight
Contest End: Contest extended till May 30th at Midnight



First Place: $50 paypal dollars or 4,000 DA points
Second Place: $30 paypal dollars or 2,400 DA points
Third Place: $20 paypal dollars or 1,600 DA points



Runner-Up One: $10 paypal dollars or 800 DA points
Runner-Up Two: $10 paypal dollars or 800 DA points



- Create an original character. The character must be new and fresh, no already created oc's.

Note: Since I got asked this a couple of times, I'm going to post this here as well as in the FAQ to clear up any confusion.

Does my character have to look like Chess / and have the same personality?
No, you have complete freedom to use your imagination for your character. Chess is just an example of the kind of theme you can use. Your character doesn't have to look or act like Chess in any way. (=

Note: Winners of this contest will have their characters featured in my upcoming mini novel, Milo and Chess. They will play a main or secondary role in the story.

- Your original character can be either a female or male and is allowed to have animal ears / tails / wings, etc, but must be mostly human.

- Your character should have a name and have a brief description of their personality.

- All entries can be either digital or traditional and you can only have one entry.

- Entries can either by full bodies or waist up and must be in color. You may have a background, but it's not required.

- No bases, sorry. ;v;

Sepica, a world in everlasting moonlight and filled with mysteries, myths, and legends. It's only light source other than the two moons in the sky are the mysterious crystal trees that shine as if they are suns. These mysterious trees not only give off light, but they are what keeps the planet alive. If all were to go out, all is lost.

Once a year a Priestess from the Church of Heavenly Light is selected to go onto a long patronage accompanied by a Guardian to purify the trees in order to keep them alive, and thus, keep Sepica alive as well.

Follow Milo, a young Priestess as she heads out on her first patronage along with her Guardian, Chess; who is a bit more than she bargained for.



What can I do with my character after the contest? Anything you want. Even though the winners will have their characters featured in my story, they may also do whatever they want with their oc. c:
